Professional custom service for the manufacturing of hard and flexible polymer plates for relief printing, letterpress, stamp making, and flexographic marking systems.
This service is designed for embossing images in relief, as would be done with a Minerva, Adana, proofing press, a vertical action press, or even a well-calibrated press. These plates can also be manually printed by applying pressure with a Baren or a clean roller. The uniqueness of these plates lies in their hardness, similar to a steel plate, yet they are flexible and easy to cut due to their polyester base.
Rittagraf exclusively works with high-quality Japanese polymers - Toyobo - treated according to the handling and storage instructions required by the material. For each service, we choose the plate reference that offers the best performance for the desired application. The depth and thickness of a 0.95 mm plate are 0.68 mm.
These plates can be printed usingtraditional relief inks and offset inks. Oil-based stamp inks can also be used, especially those of oil base. These plates are processed with water, so it is advisable to clean them with special oils such as Novasol, always avoiding cleaning with water or alcohol.
